In Government, Mr. Triggs got so annoyed one day when he saw my desk in the middle of the aisle during class. I got reprimanded. Pointing at Bob Hurley in defense, I tried to explain he was responsible for it being there. Bob used his huge foot to push my desk around with me in it - a time waster to stay awake. I tried to prove to Triggs that Bob wouldn't let me move my desk, but he quickly released his foot and my desk slid right back. Minutes later after the lecture had resumed, he would pull me into the aisle again and I thought I was going to get detention! As a teacher myself, I can see why Mr. Triggs thought I was a pain, but sometimes I chuckle at the kid antics I see, because I remember...

Happy Birthday, Chum! Hope you had a grand day.
Becky, I have been pulling for Ben and all of you since I heard he had cancer. Your steadfast, loving care since May is such a pure example of motherly love. I lift you, Glenn, and Ben's family up in prayer for comfort and support in this difficult time of grief and the gradual adjustments you will face. Prayers for your health as well. Reenie Fast

Martin, I do not recall a post about the death of Carol Campa's husband Kit "Buster" Sanchez. He died in a motorcycle accident May 29, 2018 in Wichita. I just heard about it tonight from Carol's sister-in-law and thought I would ask. It may be that I don't read closely enough and it was noted. Reenie Koehn Fast
I remember the day Switlana walked into our 4th grade classroom. I remember the day she was sharpening a pencil and I ran into the new point when she turned as I passed her by, because I still have a mark on my finger. I remember her on the last day of school in 6th grade and have a picture of her and Lillian Dick Quiring. Switlana walked through those years quiet, friendly, and sweet...and remained so to the end.
