Dear Bob H: the ladies lunch group had great fun at your old haunt, the Village Inn. The young lady that waited on us was superb!! She said you had hired n trained her. Great job. We were even more pleasantly surprised to find out that Wednesdays were free pie day. No one at the table knew. And you didn't tell us. πŸ™πŸ₯Ί. Well, the secret is out now!! Definitely a place we will be going back to.

Thanks Bob. We luv ya,

Happy New Year to everyone!!

Ladies: as you know from my text around the middle of December, we're trying out a new day (Tuesdays) to gather for our lunches. Hope to see familiar faces and possibly new ones at our lunch at Charlie's in Newalls Corner at 1 pm on Tuesday, January 4th. Remember if anyone needs a ride to call one of us!

Looking forward to this new year and more fun times together!

Blessings to all!

Ladies (classmates and spouses of): This coming Tuesday is our regularly scheduled luncheon. Let's meet at the Casa Fiesta across from the old KuKu on No. Main. C-ya at 1 pm.

Please come cuz I'd like to discuss settling on a day to meet and not changing.

In retrospect, we've been meeting for a little over a year now and I've been back almost two years. It's been such fun getting to know everyone again and catching up on all the history I missed by galavanting all over the world. The buildings and houses have all changed but it's the people who make a city a home town or a house a home. I'm very glad the Lord brought me back to my home town of Newton.

Hey Ladies. It's me again! I've given Lee the luncheon dates for our luncheon for this year to post on the homepage of our website. We're moving back to Wednesdays since we had the biggest crowds on those days. Not changing this again unless for a single special event/occassion! So here are the dates. Mark them on your calendars so you won't have any interruptions. I'll send out next month's restaurant later.

Bob Hurley and I were drivers for Red Cross at the blood center in Wichita. I haven't seen Bob for a few months, he usually drove in the afternoon and I in by the morning. That's to bad to hear he has passed.

My sincere condolences to the family of
David. I am sure he will be dearly missed by those classmates who were close to him.
Thank you Beverly for sharing your memory of David. It was a story that I did not know.
Even though it happened long ago, I am saddened and angered that someone stole your clothes. It was an unkind joke. Thank God for David. In today's world we need more Davids.

Classmates:

At our age, it's never too early to start thinking about our 55th REUNION. To start the discussion, we are interested to know what time of year you would prefer - Spring, Summer, or Fall. We would plan to have a Friday & Saturday get together in Newton. More details in the near future, but let us know which time of year you would prefer.

I am sorry to inform you all that our friend and classmate Ric Terrones has passed. Ric lived in Mesquite, Texas with his wife Rita and had retired from the Mesquite Police Department. Ric and I were good friends in high school, playing in band, marching band, and jazz band - including traveling to other cities to perform. He was the best!

We will share additional information as it becomes available.
