I first met Brenda in Middle School. We became locker partners and the fun began. We spent many mornings before school and after school dragging main. (We drug main out past Bethel College and down to Tasty Freeze.) Lots of fun double dates with whom the guys we both ending up married to. She and Rick married right before graduation because Rick was called up in the National Guards. Our friendship remained the same after they moved back to Newton after he got out of the service. Brenda was a happy funny person. We attended all of our class reuions together, (Which I miss so very much). On July 7th,1988 while on vacation, they and Ricks mother were instantly taken by a drunk driver. I think of her so often. She never got to know her first grandchild that was born after their death. Thanks Brenda for all the memories and the great friendship that we had. Miss you !!!
